Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate packaging equipment, verify sequencing, and maintain accurate production records.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient production flow, with forklift operation as part of daily duties. Responsibilities include ensuring packaging materials meet specifications, supporting other plant positions when needed, and participating in safety and quality trainings.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer navigation and operation skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to follow work instructions and document activities.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure proper operation, minimize downtime, and maintain product flow.
• Verify product sequencing and complete daily production records accurately and on time.
• Ensure packaging materials, labels, product samples, and weights meet specifications throughout production.
• Provide backup support for other plant positions as needed to cover absences and workload changes.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification and operate forklifts safely.
• Attend safety huddles and meetings and participate in safety improvements.
• Attend staff meetings and training related to Quality and Food Safety and lean manufacturing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per SOPs.
• Notify leadership of any non-conforming product or process and help prevent waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
