Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Grinding Utility Operator at the Royal Canin site in Lebanon, TN. The role covers moving raw ingredients, loading/unloading trailers and preparing ingredients for mixing, with flexibility to work across multiple positions to support production.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and teamwork. Candidates should be coachable, able to learn in manufacturing and comfortable with SAP, ATMS and Week Plan systems.

Required Shift

• 12-Hour shifts
• 4 days on, 4 days off
• Night shift is 6:00pm to 6:30am

The scope of theGrinding Utility Operatoris to move raw ingredients inside the site, load/unload trailers, and prepare ingredients for mixing. The Grinding Utility Operator will work several positions throughout the site with the intent of preparing ingredients for mixing.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma / GED
• Forklift experience required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable
• Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to act with disciplined initiative
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• 1+ years’ experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline
• Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
• Frequenthandling/gripping/bending/stooping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
• Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods.
