Packaging Operator - Nights - $2500 Sign-on Bonus

Join us as a Packaging Operator - Nights - $2500 Sign-on Bonus at Mars.

Job Description

The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring all finished product is packaged according to Q&FS specifications and QMP Standards, supporting Mars Quality and Food Safety principles.

Shift Details

Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday - Friday

Qualifications
  • Be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Good math, reading, and writing skills
  • Knowledge of computers and HMI equipment
  • Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Material Management Systems
  • Understanding of food safety standards such as GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC
  • Effective problem solving, communication, and decision-making skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safety practices meeting OSHA & Mars standards
  • Operate within efficiency and quality standards for packaging
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain documentation
  • Adjust and perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Participate in sanitation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and safety programs
  • Promote teamwork and uphold site culture
