Job summary

Atkore in Dallas, TX is seeking a Packaging Operator for the night shift (7:00PM–7:00AM). You will properly stack finished pipe, perform quality checks, weigh and transport products, and support regrind and other duties under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, can lift 50 lb, and works safely in a fast-paced setting. Compensation starts at $20/hr with a $1/hr shift differential, plus benefits.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Packaging Operator to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Packaging Operator will properly stack finished pipe and check for quality.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with Quality Control duties.
• Weigh and transport finished product.
• Process regrind.
• All other assigned duties

What you’ll bring:

• Preferred educational requirement is High School diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent changes.
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete any required training.
• Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of thecurrent pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
