Job summary

Quantix SCS, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely operate packaging equipment, ensure product integrity, and follow GPPs at the pack-out line.

The role focuses on preventing contamination and adhering to established processes and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have 6–12 months of warehouse and operations experience, be able to work weekends/holidays, lift up to 55 lbs, and stand for extended periods in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of Warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months of Operations experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 55 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection processes within EHS and Quality policy guidelines.
• Adhere to Good Packaging Practices (GPPs) to maintain product integrity.
• Perform complete blowdowns in accordance with customer quality standards.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in setting up packaging lines.
• Set up transfer hoses to railcars while following GPPs.
• Verify and initial paperwork before starting new packaging orders.
• Review and initial test prints after approval from the Packaging Lead.
• Report any quality concerns encountered during packaging to the Packaging Lead.
• Complete assigned training in Paylocity to maintain compliance and skill development.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Assist the Packaging Lead in completing all tasks assigned by management.
