Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic shop math, algebra.
  • Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred.
  • A legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must pass drug screen and a background check in accordance with IFF standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced automated packaging equipment across multiple workstations following detailed work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain cGMP compliance through accurate documentation, inspections and re-qualification.
  • Train new operators and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and production leadership.

WHERE YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE SHIFT* Monday – Friday, 2pm - 1030pm *may exceed 40 hours per week for business needs

Perform complex automatic machine operation functions in multiple work locations to support production goals and quality, cGMP standards.

Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, engineering, and production crew to optimize packaging efficiency, troubleshoot equipment, and facilitate training of new staff. Specific tasks are defined by work instructions for each operation in the job rotation. Provide peer-level technical guidance to Packaging Operators to ensure consistent operation and adherence to procedures. Act as a subject-matter resource for troubleshooting equipment and resolving routine process issues. Serve as a go-to senior operator for questions related to equipment setup, documentation, accuracy, and cGMP expectations. Provide mentorship to new or less-experienced team members to help build skill and confidence.

Operate advanced automated packaging equipment across multiple workstations, following detailed work instructions.

Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.

Maintain cGMP compliance through accurate documentation, inspections, and annual re-qualification.

Ensure workplace safety by identifying hazards, maintaining cleanliness, and following PPE requirements. Clean and break down equipment including machines, tools, and surrounding areas. Recognize and respond to out-of-control events by stopping operations and resuming only after resolution.

Train new operators and participate in task forces focused on process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and production leadership. Perform other duties assigned.

Salary Ranges: 48,594.00-69,420.00USD
