Position Overview / Position Responsibilities:

This position involves the creation and packaging of mascara, ensuring that production and processing activities run efficiently and safely within established quality and production standards through machinery maintenance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience and knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items is required.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to perform repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
  • Able to work off shifts, including overtime.
  • High School education or GED equivalent preferred.

Full Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operating manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging lines and presses, including quality control, material procurement, line setup, product adjustment within specifications, light preventative maintenance, and communication required for operation.
  • Coordinating changeovers in production and requesting assistance from Line Mechanics during changeovers.
  • Training and assisting Packaging employees, monitoring work procedures, co-signing records, and maintaining smooth production flow.
  • Ensuring GMPs, sanitization, quality control, safety, housekeeping, and adherence to operating procedures.
  • Attending necessary training programs to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborating with management to improve quality, efficiency, and housekeeping.
  • Managing line changeovers, including sanitization, to meet GMP standards.
  • Handling movement, documentation, and supply of incoming components, bulk materials, and finished products.
  • Overseeing production and inventory controls, including ordering, recording, and closing transactions.
  • Maintaining line upkeep and housekeeping.
  • Reporting irregularities to supervision.
  • Performing other packaging-related duties as directed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
  • Effective communication in English (written and verbal).
  • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
