Position Overview / Position Responsibilities:

This position involves the creation and packaging of mascara, ensuring production and processing activities run efficiently and safely within established quality and production standards through machinery maintenance.

• Minimum 1 year of experience and knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items is required.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Capable of repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
• Able to work off shifts, including overtime.

Full Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging lines and presses, including quality control, material procurement, line setup, and adjustment within specifications, light preventative maintenance, and communication.
• Coordinating changeovers in production and requesting assistance from Line Mechanics.
• Training and assisting Packaging employees, ensuring proper procedures are followed, co-signing records, and maintaining smooth production flow.
• Ensuring GMPs, sanitization, quality control, safety, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Attending necessary training programs to maintain high standards.
• Collaborating with management on process improvements.
• Performing line changeovers and sanitization to establish GMPs.
• Managing movement, documentation, and supply of components, bulk materials, finished products, and inventory control.
• Maintaining line upkeep and informing supervision of irregularities.
• Performing other packaging-related duties as directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must lift up to 30 pounds.
• Repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours.
• Effective communication in English (written and verbal).
• Wearing all proper PPE.
