Base pay range: $17.50/hr

Job Summary

Packaging Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for performing packaging procedures, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and safety standards. The role requires maintaining high quality and safety in all operations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment following established procedures.
  • Prepare materials and ensure correct packaging components are used.
  • Complete filling, capping, labeling, and packing tasks as per batch records.
  • Perform cleaning and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and GMP standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Train new employees after one year of satisfactory performance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
  • Basic mathematical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
Physical and Other Requirements

Must meet physical demands, including lifting and moving up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, and vision requirements. English proficiency is required. All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $17.50. Includes eligibility for an annual bonus, 401(k) matching, health benefits, paid holidays, PTO, and other perks.

Work Schedule

6:30 am - 3:00 pm
