Job summary

Lupin is seeking a Packaging Operator in New Jersey to set up and run filling lines for liquid, powder, and tablet products. You will adhere to SOPs, cGMPs and batch records, documenting activities and maintaining quality standards.

The role requires lifting 25–70 lbs, strong communication, and teamwork to meet production targets while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience with filling equipment for liquid, powder, or tablet operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate filling machines to package pharmaceutical products.
• Follow SOPs, batch records, cGMPs and verbal instructions from supervisors and line leaders.
• Document packaging activities in batch records and cGMP documents.
• Ensure products are manufactured and packaged according to quality standards and specifications.
• Work according to line speed and standards to meet production and quality goals.
• Perform equipment cleaning, room cleaning, inspection, sanitization, material transfers, labeling and palletization.
• Follow batch record instructions during packaging per SOPs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure final product meets high-quality standards.
• Work in a team environment to achieve targets outputs.

Job description

• Set up and operate liquid/powder/tablet filling machines and scales to package pharmaceutical
  products.
• Perform job functions as per written instructions in Standard Operating Procedures; Packaging
  Batch records; cGMP’s and verbal instructions from supervisors and line leaders
• Document all the packaging activities in packaging batch records, log books, and any other
  appropriate cGMP documents
• Ensure that all products are manufactured and packaged according to quality standards and
  product specifications through daily execution of batch master records
• Work as per the line operating speed and standards to meet the production and quality goals.
• Perform equipment cleaning, room cleaning, inspection, sanitization, material transfers, labelling
  and palletization
• Perform documentation of the activities as per GMP requirements
• Follow batch record instructions during the packaging process, as per standard operating
  procedures
• Operator must adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure that the final product meets high-quality
  standards
• Work in team environment to achieve targets outputs

Qualification and Experience

Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience with filling equipment for liquid, powder, or tablet operations

Experience

• Powder or tablet filling experience preferred
• Able to lift 25-70 lbs
• Strong written and verbal communication to report progress and changes
