Job summary

Dpdhl is seeking a Packaging Operator to efficiently operate packaging lines in accordance with procedures and customer specs. You will oversee associates in the packaging area and ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires reading product specs, documenting quality checks, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in the packaging area. High school diploma preferred and equal opportunity employer statement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Document quality checks and enter data into the system.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality guidelines.

• Lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain product conformity to specs.

• Must be able to perform all duties of packaging operator II.
• Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
• Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
