Job summary

Idahoan Foods, LLC in Lewisville, ID is seeking a Machine Operator Helper to assist the Packaging Department in efficient, safe production. You will support the Packaging Machine Operator, load materials, monitor operations, and help with line changeovers while keeping areas clean and compliant with quality standards.

Training is provided with a wage increase to $20.10 per hour after successful completion of training and skills validation.

Qualifications

Recent and consistent job history in an environment comparable to manufacturing.
Experience around machines or equipment is common and valued.
Forklift certification and safety training like SQF/LOTO preferred.
Ability to read and follow simple instructions and procedures in English or Spanish.

Responsibilities

Assist Packaging Machine Operator in setting up and adjusting packaging machines.
Load WIP materials and packaging materials; monitor for jams or malfunctions.
Support with minor machine repairs or adjustments as directed.
Pack packaged product into cases and stack onto pallets; back up operator during breaks.
Replenish packaging materials and maintain inventory accuracy.
Inspect finished products and handle rework as needed; maintain clean work area.
Assist with line changeovers and proper sanitation per protocol.
Adhere to Safety and Food Safety policies and report incidents.
