Job summary

You will work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime; basic math and computer skills are required; forklift experience is preferred; manufacturing or chemical plant experience is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Eligible to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Physical dexterity for stairs, ladders, and heavy lifting.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Chemical plant production experience strongly desired.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and maintain process efficiencies.
• Transfer raw materials between areas.
• Transfer finished materials between warehouses.
• Perform housekeeping.
• Assist with emptying finished product from industrial dryers.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
• Operate equipment for various processing systems.
• Operate powered industrial trucks.
• Support other operator tasks as needed.
