Position Title:Packaging Operator- Cheese Manufacturing
Wage:$19.50 - $21.50/Hour
Shift/Hours:
1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM , 2-2-3 Rotation Schedule
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2-2-3 Rotation Schedule

Packaging Operator Responsibilities:
- Produce grating cheese according to the production schedule
- Load cheese and ingredients into cooking tanks following recipes
- Accurately record ingredient amounts and lot numbers
- Operate powered lift trucks to move cheese and ingredients
- Package finished products for storage or shipment
- Use hand scanners to track ingredients and work orders
- Clean equipment and utensils per sanitation guidelines
- Assist with new product trials in collaboration with the Research & Development team
- Follow all safety, HACCP, and GMP policies; report any food safety concerns
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed
Requirements For Packaging Operator:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of food manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of automated equipment operation
- Strong computer and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions, product labels, and work orders
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, weight measurements)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
