Job summary

Barilla America, Inc. is seeking Packaging Operators to load packaging materials, operate packaging machines, perform quality checks and adjust equipment as needed.

The role includes a 2-2-3 shift pattern with day shift at $24.48 per hour and night shift at $27.32 (includes 10% shift differential). Applicants must be available to work every other weekend and have experience in production or food manufacturing; knowledge of GMPs and food safety is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in production or food manufacturing and a general working knowledge of computers is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMP's) preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and appropriate supporting programs (e.g., cleaning, sanitation, pest management, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Packaging Operators during their shift are primarily responsible for loading packaging materials on the packaging machines, performing quality checks, and making mechanical adjustments as needed.

Packaging Operators during their shift are primarily responsible for loading packaging materials on the packaging machines, performing quality checks, and making mechanical adjustments as needed.

Day and Night Shift Available

$24.48 per hour for day shift

$27.32 (includes 10% shift differential) for the night shift.

Packaging Operators work only half the days in a month, as they work a flexible (2-2-3) shift pattern. Applicants must be available to work every other weekend as part of their regular schedule.
