Job summary

Viatris is seeking an Associate Operator, Packaging for the 3rd shift. The role involves visually inspecting products, assisting with production equipment setup, and maintaining clean manufacturing spaces.

You will ensure correct labeling, document production runs, and help train new staff under supervision. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and up to two years of relevant experience, plus strong mechanical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to two years of experience is preferred; a mix of experience and education will be considered.
• Strong mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal and writing skills, plus basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation and observe equipment for proper operation; request maintenance when needed.
• Assist with setup and running of Production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation under supervision.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc., as instructed.
