Job summary

Apolis in Woburn, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator for 12+ month engagement on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). The role supports packaging of plant-based hemostatic powder medical products in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The incumbent will inspect, label, package, and document finished products, ensuring GMP-compliant procedures and accurate batch records while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all PPE and contamination control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial medical products.
• Package finished products according to established procedures and quality specifications.
• Inspect packaging materials and in-process products to identify and remove defective items.
• Complete manufacturing documentation accurately, including device history records, inventory counts, and batch records.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required for production documentation.
• Assist with inventory counting and material reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean and organized packaging work area and processing equipment.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, observations, and safety audits.
• Follow all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and contamination control (gowning) requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures.
• Operate in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and quality standards.
