Responsibilities
  1. Total operation of manual, semiautomatic, and automatic packaging lines, including quality control, material procurement, line setup, and maintenance.
  2. Train and supervise Packaging employees, ensuring proper procedures and smooth workflow.
  3. Assist in department operations with a focus on GMP, sanitization, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
  4. Participate in training programs to maintain high standards.
  5. Implement process improvements in quality, efficiency, and housekeeping.
  6. Handle changeovers, sanitization, and documentation for packaging lines.
  7. Manage inventory, including incoming components, bulk, and finished products.
  8. Perform duties of a Packaging Operator and maintain line upkeep.
  9. Report irregularities to supervision and perform related tasks as directed.
Qualifications
  • Experience with production machinery and processes.
  • Ability to work in a team and adhere to safety protocols, including PPE.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Availability for shifts, including overtime.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
