The Clorox Company in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Packaging Operator (2nd Shift) to operate and changeover packaging lines, perform quality checks, and support continuous improvement. This role reports to the Lead Operator and Packaging Manager, and requires 1-3 years production experience, forklift experience, and strong communication.

You'll work Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, earn $29.00 per hour plus $0.95 shift differential, and have opportunities for training, multi-skill development, and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years production experience preferred.
• 1-year forklift experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting, process improvement and root cause analysis experience.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Self-motivated with ability to influence others.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and ability to train others on operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational skills and safety training.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment listed in checklists and manage changeovers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on packaging line equipment.
• Complete quality control checks and record data.
• Handle materials for the packaging line and monitor MES/EWM/SAP workflows.
• Complete multiskilled training through Block 6.
• Support backup coverage for line operators as needed.

The purpose of this position is to operate and changeover limited equipment and inspect finished goods and packaging materials for defects. This position must be able to act as a backup for line operators in their absence. Day to day general direction is provided by the Lead Operator and the Packaging Manager.
