Packaging Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shift - $2,500 Sign on Bonus

Shift Hours:

  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday - Friday
  • Night Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM, Sunday - Thursday
Job Description

The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring all finished product is packaged according to Q&FS specifications and QMP Standards, supporting Mars Quality and Food Safety principles.

Qualifications
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Good math, reading, and writing skills
  • Knowledge of computers and HMI equipment
  • Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Material Management Systems
  • Understanding of food safety standards like GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safety practices per OSHA & Mars standards
  • Operate within efficiency and quality standards
  • Perform quality checks and document findings
  • Adjust and maintain packaging equipment as per SOPs
  • Participate in sanitation and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
