Job Description:

The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring all finished products are packaged according to QFS specifications and QMP Standards, supporting Mars Quality and Food Safety principles.

New hires are eligible for a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus for this position.

Shift Details:

• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday

What are we looking for?

• Be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Good math, reading, and writing skills
• Knowledge of computers and HMI equipment
• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Material Management Systems and procedures
• Understanding of food safety, GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC
• Effective problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow personal safety practices meeting OSHA & Mars standards, maintaining open communication about safety policies
• Operate within specified efficiency and productivity standards, ensuring compliance with QFS specifications for each formulation
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate documentation as per QMP and site requirements
• Adjust and perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment according to SOPs to ensure compliance with QFS and QMP standards
• Carry out AM responsibilities aligned with MSE
• Adhere to the master sanitation program as defined by Sanitation MSS
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and KPIs
• Ensure all food safety, quality, and safety standards are met
• Demonstrate teamwork consistent with site culture
