Job summary

Mars is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our factory team. This multi‑skilled packing associate aims to maximize line efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards and contributing to continuous improvement projects within the packaging hall.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, and experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. Mechanical background is a plus; training and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent packaging line efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate deviations.

• Be responsible for GMP/GHP packaging score achievements.
• Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld to the highest standard.
• Participate in operational processes that support business performance improvements.

The Packaging Operator will be a multi‑skilled packing associate who is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained. The packaging operator will also play a pivotal role in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects within the packaging hall.

• Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout the packing hall
• Be responsible for the achievement of GMP/GHP packaging score
• Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard
• Actively participate in Operational processes that support the improvement of our business performance

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
