Your Role:
  • Weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using precision equipment into specified containers.
  • Verify the functioning of room ventilation and safety equipment, obtain process orders, scan into the computer system, and verify that the electronic balance is calibrated.
  • Verify bulk container numbers, batch, and material numbers against those called for on the process order; complete all required paperwork and documentation.
  • Assemble, disassemble semi-automatic powder or liquid dispensing equipment and replace worn or disposable parts as necessary.
  • Clean tools, utensils, and semi-automatic dispensing equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and chemical safety protocols.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all automated equipment.
  • Label and overpack filled units for shipping in compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Actively participate in a proactive safety culture; identify hazards, make suggestions for improvement, and work incident-free.
Physical Attributes:
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Wear appropriate protective gear (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical-resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • The work area may occasionally be wet, humid, or abnormally hot or cold.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chemistry work experience.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience.
  • Experience operating pallet and drum movers.
