$5000 SIGN-ON BONUS IF HIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Your Role

  • Weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using precision equipment into specified containers
  • Verify functioning of room ventilation and safety equipment, obtain process order, scan into computer system, verify electronic balance is calibrated
  • Verify bulk container numbers, batch, and material numbers against those called for on the process order and complete all required paperwork and documentation
  • Assemble, disassemble semiautomatic powder or liquid dispensing equipment and replace worn or disposable parts as necessary
  • Clean tools, utensils, and semi-automatic dispensing equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and chemical safety protocols.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all automated equipment
  • Label and overpack filled units for shipping in compliance with shipping regulations
  • Actively participate in a proactive safety culture; identify hazards, make suggestions for improvement and working incident free

Physical Attributes

  • Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts
  • Wear appropriate protective gear (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment “PPE”
  • The work area may occasionally be wet, humid, or abnormally hot or cold
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chemistry work experience
  • Manufacturing or Industrial experience
  • Experience operating pallet and drum movers
