Job description

Kane Brewing Company is an award-winning production brewery located in Ocean Township, NJ. Kane Brewing and its sister company, Kane Distributing, have been developing and delivering innovative products of the highest quality since 2011. This full-time position reports into the Packaging Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with all packaging processes including kegs, bottling and canning.
2. Properly clean and fill kegs.
3. Ensure all beer is in the proper condition (temperature, carbonation level, etc.) prior to packaging.
4. Ensure all packaging activity is done according to its SOP regarding yield, bottle and can fill-height, dissolved oxygen levels, and crowning and seaming standards and material loss.
5. Assist in canning utilizing the Wild Goose canning line and bottling on the Meheen bottling line.
6. Build and pack cases for cans and bottles.
7. Maintain proper packaging records and logs.
8. Maintain cleanliness of all packaging equipment.
9. Ensure regular maintenance of packaging equipment.
10. Strong work ethic.

Requirements:

1. Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.
2. Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs occasionally.
3. Safely operate a forklift and complex machinery.
4. Work in a non-temperature controlled environment.

This position is full-time, on-site at our Ocean Township, NJ brewery location.
