Job title:- Packaging Operator

Pay rate: $20 to 22/hr

Shifts Available:
Bottle Lines:
1st shift: 5:45am - 4:15pm (Monday - Thursday)

Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in production, packaging, or manufacturing. GMP experience is not necessarily required but strongly desired, along with familiarity with batch records. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating packaging equipment (tablet fillers, Thermoformers, labelers, case packers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Understanding and complying with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures; maintaining good housekeeping.
• Verifying product and component correctness for NDC packaging.
• Supplying equipment with components and products; lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Performing detection system challenges and troubleshooting equipment jams.
• Performing maintenance, cleaning, and equipment adjustments to optimize performance.
• Documenting activities accurately in worksheets, logs, and electronic batch records.
• Performing quality inspections and in-process testing.
• Reworking packages as needed according to SOPs.
• Participating in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting deviation investigations and root cause analysis.
• Monitoring line performance and reporting issues to ensure timely resolutions.
• Working flexible shifts, including weekends and alternative schedules.
• Supporting equipment qualification, validation, and protocol testing.
• Creating or updating standard work procedures and SOPs.
• Managing recycling and waste in line operations.
• Participating in site strategy initiatives.

This role is entry level, contract-based, within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Flexibility, minimum supervision, and team collaboration are essential.
