Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Packaging Operator in Somerset, NJ to support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. You will help ensure orders are completed safely and accurately while rotating between workstations as production demands change.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior warehouse or packaging experience; training in warehouse logistics is beneficial.

• Verify SKU numbers and ensure product accuracy.
• Safely pack finished products according to quality standards.
• Maintain organized and accessible materials in the work area.
• Rotate between workstations as production demands change.
• Clean and maintain production equipment to support efficient operations.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems immediately.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
