Rio Tinto is seeking a Packaging Operator to run carbonate conveying or hydroxide packaging equipment for Lithium hydroxide in bags, drums, and supersacks. You will monitor equipment, draw samples for QC, and maintain packaging material inventories in a safety‑driven environment.
Reporting to the Production Lead, you will operate forklifts, follow SOPs, and ensure compliance with Hazmat and DOT requirements while supporting a collaborative Hydroxide Line 1.

We are looking for a Packaging Operator who is responsible for operating carbonate conveying or hydroxide packaging equipment to package Lithium hydroxide in bags, drums, and supersacks per customer requirements as defined in Product Standards in support of the Salts Area production and customer delivery needs.
This is a great opportunity to participate actively in the plant Hazwoper program to inspect and upkeep the safety related equipment and maintain high standards of housekeeping and orderliness in the packaging department.
