Job summary

NS IT Solutions is seeking a Packaging Mechanic in Manassas, VA to perform set ups, maintenance, and changeovers on bottle packaging lines for pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems, perform routine preventative maintenance, and document operations and repairs in CMMS.

Candidates should have strong reading of schematics, blueprints, and manuals, plus experience with multiple packaging machines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in mechanical maintenance of bottle packaging lines (troubleshooting, repairs, setup, disassembly).
• 2+ years' experience in pharmaceutical/manufacturing industries in a maintenance mechanic role for bottle packaging lines.
