Job summary

PAI Pharma in Greenville, SC seeks a Packaging Material Handler – Level II to safely move, store, and manage bulk materials on packaging lines. You will operate transfer equipment, monitor processes, and maintain records while ensuring GMP and OSHA standards. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in confined spaces preferred.

The role requires high school diploma and 2 years in manufacturing or bulk handling. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2 years experience in industrial cleaning, bulk handling, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate transfer equipment and understand fluid dynamics.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations is a plus.
• Experience in cGMP environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, valves, hoses, and other equipment to transfer bulk materials between tanks.
• Clean and sanitize portable tanks using approved methods and chemicals.
• Inspect tanks and transfer equipment for wear, damage, or contamination.
• Monitor transfer processes to ensure accuracy, prevent spills, and maintain product integrity.
• Maintain detailed records of transfers, volumes, cleaning schedules, and safety checks.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and confined space procedures.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet operational goals.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials on each packaging line and transport as needed.
• Ensure materials delivered to packaging line are identified per SOP and GMP regulations.
• Deliver materials with appropriate documentation in batch records and picklists.
• Monitor gowning supplies and general packaging materials inventory.
• Manage transport of in-process waste drums and storage totes.
• Perform line changeovers and housekeeping to keep areas clean.
• Assist with line changes and equipment cleaning.
