Job summary

Firestone Walker is seeking a Packaging Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain packaging lines and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect lines, and ensure minimal downtime.

Night shifts and weekend work may be required, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely repairs. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with four years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Able to read and interpret electrical/plc diagrams and manuals.
• Capable of problem solving and Troubleshooting packaging equipment.
• Able to use tools and safety procedures including lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain packaging equipment.
• Perform daily inspection of packaging lines.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Conduct weekly/monthly/yearly PMs on equipment.
• Rebuild parts as needed and diagnose issues.
• Document tasks in maintenance system and conduct shift turnovers.
• Provide emergency repairs as needed and read manuals.
• Complete safety training and operate tools safely.
