Job summary

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep campus facilities and grounds well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. The role blends general maintenance, electrical/refrigeration troubleshooting, renovation projects, and ongoing upkeep.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with broad skills across trades and a commitment to campus cleanliness and functionality.

Hands-on problem solver with a broad skill set across multiple trades.
Maintains campus facilities to keep them safe, functional, and clean.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on campus facilities, including plumbing and hardware repairs, and mechanical systems.
Perform electrical work such as replacing switches, outlets, lights, and breakers, with basic circuit troubleshooting.
Monitor and perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues for in-house or contractor escalation.
Respond to daily maintenance work orders in a timely, professional manner.
Perform framing (wood and metal) and structural repair work.
Install, repair, and finish drywall, including taping and texturing.
Complete painting, tiling, concrete finishing, and basic sheet metal installation for campus projects.
Safely demolish small structures or interior spaces for remodeling.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of campus grounds, walkways, and parking areas.
Log tasks and progress using mobile apps or computer systems.
Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and PPE usage.
