Job summary

Winland Foods seeks a Maintenance Team Member to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging/processing equipment. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, assist with setup and rebuilds, and ensure GMPs and food safety standards are met in a fast-paced facility.

From day one you’ll document work in CMMS, collaborate with a skilled team, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while expanding your technical skills and taking on increasing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level).
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety compliance with GMPs/OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with machine setup, equipment modifications, and rebuilds to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update records in CMMS systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and uphold GMPs and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Mentor and train Maintenance Mechanics Level 1, Operators, and production employees.
