Packaging Machine Operator, Rotating 12hr Day Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the production schedule and its impact on daily tasks.
• Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging equipment; identify and resolve defects promptly.
• Manage setup, changeovers, and quality checks of machines and packaging materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of production data.
• Follow safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment.
• Work collaboratively to optimize production efficiency and output.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Motivated self-starter with moderate supervision needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High integrity, quality focus, and multitasking ability.
• Hygiene consciousness and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year experience as a machine operator outside SCN BestCo or 3 months within, or Certified Production Technician.
• Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills; fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over one year of packaging experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.
• Experience with FDA regulations.
