Job summary

W.C. Bradley Co. in Milwaukee seeks a packaging/production operator to setup and run packaging machinery per established procedures. You will fill, seal, and label containers, verify goods against invoices, read blueprints, and adjust machinery to meet specifications.

You will document inventory details, may perform minor repairs, and work under moderate supervision to gain full proficiency in a specific discipline. This role requires teamwork and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume bottling and packaging equipment, including clearing minor jams and malfunctions.
• Load, monitor, count and sort materials; ensure quality production on basic to moderately complex machines.
• Complete quality checks and record results in computer or tablet.
• Assist maintenance in production changeovers with limited supervision.
• Remove defective products or equipment and reposition materials to maintain flow.
• Review bill of materials to ensure correct production components are used.
• Assist maintenance technicians with basic tasks as requested.
• Follow strict quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Prepare packaging materials and load product into boxes if required.
• Cross-train others on machines as needed.
• Fill in for other roles as qualified or assigned.
