Job summary

Glanbia Performance Nutrition seeks a Machine Operator II for 2nd shift in Illinois. The role leads packaging operations, runs and adjusts equipment, performs setups, and ensures quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English fluently.
• At least 1 year of food environment or consumer product experience.
• Preferred 6 months of experience operating PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of packaging manufacturing equipment and perform machine setups.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines during operations and downtime.
• Train new hires and ensure adherence to safety, GMP, HACCP and quality procedures.
• Perform safety inspections and report injuries or issues to supervision.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE to load/unload, move and stage product.
