Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to perform set-ups, operate packaging equipment, and ensure product quality per customer requirements. The role emphasizes GMP compliance and reliable operation in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include adjusting equipment, testing packages, maintaining documentation, and supporting changeovers across a 2-2-3 Panama shift pattern and rotating crews. Candidates should be 18+, with English literacy preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment in preparation for product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts to ensure proper operation and meet quality specs.
• Inspects and tests packages, documenting results.
• Stages and checks materials for quick and accurate changeovers.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
