Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains shift documentation (i.e., Metal Detector and Batch Order Verifications).
• Reads production schedule and plans accordingly.
• Reads and interprets schedule in MicroStrategy.
• Operates packaging machinery and performs adjustments to ensure correct product and proper end seals.
• Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Monitors weight, quality, and packaging standards, and reports issues promptly.
• Keeps machines and work areas clean and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• May provide leadership to packers and support back-up roles as needed.
