Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator 1 for the Pasco, WA site. The role supports the start up and continuous operation of packaging equipment to meet daily goals, ensuring safe and efficient packaging with minimal waste.

You will inspect lines, adjust machines, and maintain logs and sanitation as required. The position requires 1+ years of related experience and familiarity with scale, packaging, and bagger machines, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with Scale, Packaging, and bagger machines (Required).

Responsibilities

• Maintains the start up and continuous operation of packaging equipment while meeting daily packaging goals.
• Operate and adjust all equipment from cold inspection through the glue deck to package according to specifications.
• Obtains daily work schedules and completes work orders based on SOPs.
• Ensures packaging equipment functions according to specifications.
• Prepares packaging machines prior to product run including cleaning and adjusting.
• Logs information from each run.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Perform sanitation work as assigned by Supervisory and Lead personnel.
