The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various packaging machines to ensure continuous and efficient production. This includes functions such as filling, labeling, packing, or wrapping containers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead setup and changeover of packaging machines for production runs
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and standards for equipment setup and changeover
• Identify and resolve issues during setup and changeover
• Ensure packaging materials meet quality standards and replenish supplies as needed
• Feed products to conveyors, hoppers, scales, or other feeding devices
• Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot, and make adjustments as per standards
• Conduct quality checks and inspect filled containers for compliance
• Remove rejected products as instructed by metal detector alarms
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, escalate when necessary
• Work closely with maintenance support
• Adhere to company policies, GMP, and safety standards
• Perform additional duties supporting business objectives, including assisting with equipment like Hand Power Jack and operator paperwork

Qualifications
