Job summary

Pepper Source, Ltd. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Gertrude line on first shift (hours 6:30am-3:00pm). Overtime is required based on production needs.

The position pays $17.00/hour and involves tending a machine that performs packaging functions such as filling, marking, and labeling. Responsibilities include starting the machine, reporting malfunctions, making minor adjustments, inspecting packs for quality, feeding product to conveyors, and mounting supplies on spindles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanical experience or understanding of mechanical functions.

Responsibilities

• Starts machine and observes operation to ensure proper function.
• Stops machine and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Makes minor adjustments or repairs (valves, dies, guides, etc.).
• Inspects filled packs for specification adherence.
• Feeds product to conveyors and mounts supplies on spindles.
