Job description

Work Schedule:

Work schedule will be determined at NEO. Must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Role Overview:

Packaging Machine Operators are essential to our success at FritoLay. They are responsible for setting up and operating packaging machines and scales to produce quality packages efficiently. This role offers growth opportunities within FritoLay and PepsiCo.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate coding, weighing, and proper packaging.
2. Ensure products are correctly dated and sealed, minimizing waste.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
5. Use protective gear when handling chemicals during line changeovers.
6. Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
7. Troubleshoot and make operational adjustments as needed.

Working Conditions:

This is a physical, 24-hour operation environment. Expect to be on your feet most of the shift, working near heavy machinery in loud, temperature-variable conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
• Mechanically inclined; 1+ year of machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, climbing, reaching, etc.).
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders or lifts.
