Zip O Log Mills Inc. is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to support the packaging department. You will operate forklifts to move lumber, stack finished units, and assist with packaging tasks to ensure product quality and safe shipment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift-operating experience is required.
• Basic understanding of sawmill and lumber-production operations.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely around employees, equipment, and finished products.
• Commitment to following safety rules and supporting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move lumber and packaging materials.
• Move lumber units into the packaging department and stack them securely in the shipping area.
• Assist with packaging duties such as setting corners, end sealing, and paper wrapping.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and monitor fuel/oil/coolant levels.
• Report equipment defects or safety hazards to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support other production and shipping tasks.
