Job summary

Amcor Limited in Kentucky is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support extrusion operations and packaging. You will inspect output, operate controls for perforation robot cell, log production and inventory, and ensure quality per work orders.

The role requires 2-5 years in manufacturing, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime including holidays and nights. Good safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years manufacturing experience with extrusion preferred.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, face shield, gloves.
• Ability to read and write to complete required forms and verify quality products.
• Must be able to obtain LOTO certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspects finished product quality before performing operations.
• Operates controls for perforation robot cell and monitors robot/perforator operations.
• Completes operation to specifications and ensures paperwork meets company standards.
• Assembles/stacks rolls per customer/in-house requirements.
• Obtains packaging material to complete orders and prepare for shipment.
• Completes quality control procedures including inspection and alignment of perforations.
• Logs production and inventory using JD Edwards scanning equipment.
• Maintains clean work area and follows hygiene requirements.
• Supports line setup independently when required.
