Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Beloit, Wisconsin is hiring for a Packaging Operator on the 6am-6:30pm, 2-2-3 rotation. The role operates and cleans downline packaging equipment, including conveyors, labelers, drop packers, taper, palletizers and case erectors, and ensures GMP and Safe Food Handling compliance.

You will maintain accurate documentation in RedZone, participate in safety programs, and respond to safety or maintenance issues by work orders.

Qualifications

• High School degree preferred.
• Must pass required Wonderlic test.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean downline packaging equipment (conveyors, labelers, drop packer, taper, palletizer, case erector).
• Follow GMP and Safe Food Handling policies.
• Clean and CIP functions on downstream equipment per sanitation plan.
• Coordinate label and product changes on downstream equipment.
• Report safety or maintenance issues via work orders to supervisor.
• Active participation in the safety program.
• Abide by internal policies (GMP, attendance, productivity).
• Complete job-related training in the allotted time.
• Maintain high productivity to meet position requirements.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment safely.
• Accurate documentation and recordkeeping in RedZone.
• Equipment runs at budgeted efficiency.
• Help palletize product for warehouse transport.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
