Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc is expanding and seeking Packaging Machine Operators for the Week Day Shift (Mon-Thurs, 6AM-6PM). This full-time role offers a stable 4-day workweek and opportunities for career growth within a long-standing snack foods company.

Responsibilities include setting up packaging lines, performing routine checks, monitoring quality, and assisting maintenance. Candidates should read English instructions, lift 50 lbs, and be prepared for forklift training.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Ability to read English instructions and communicate with team.
• Prior exposure to packaging machinery is preferred, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance.
• Maintain records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and train new operators as needed.
