Job summary

Haleon in Oak Hill, WV is seeking a Machine Maintenance Mechanic to maintain production and facility equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance on high-speed packaging lines. You will set up changeovers, repair filling and packaging equipment, and document work in the CMMS system.

You must have 3–5 years of experience with high-speed packaging equipment, welding skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical trade school certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years experience troubleshooting and repairing high-speed automated packaging equipment.
• Welding knowledge (Tig, Mig, Arc and Gas) preferred.
• Basic sheet metal skills including guarding fabrication and layout.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and take corrective action to maintain line efficiency.
• Independently set up changeovers and repair filling/packaging lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as required.
• Document work in CMMS and follow GMP/SOP requirements.
• Operate electric pallet jack and work overtime/shift as needed.
