Job summary

Bio-Botanica Inc. is seeking a Packaging Line Leader to coordinate and lead all packaging activities on assigned lines at our facility in New York.

Under the Packaging Manager, you will ensure materials are delivered, lines are verified for release, and records are accurately completed in the ERP system. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of supervisory experience, prior manufacturing of dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in dietary supplements/pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand/walk in a manufacturing environment.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead packaging activities on assigned packaging line(s) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with warehouse to deliver and check materials before packaging.
• Coordinate with quality to verify and release lines prior to packaging.
• Document all activities on batch records and ERP forms.
• Lead cleaning and sanitizing of packaging equipment and lines.
• Maintain clean, organized packaging areas.
• Escalate equipment issues via corporate workflows.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, Food Safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow SOPs and Food Defense practices.

Under the direction of the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Line Leader is responsible for coordinating and leading all packaging activities for their assigned packaging line(s).

Requirements

• Coordinate and lead all packaging activities on their assigned packaging line(s) to ensure accuracy andefficiency.
• Work with warehouse personnel to ensure all required materials are appropriately delivered to the packagingline(s) and checked in prior to packaging.
• Work with quality personnel to ensure packaging lines are verified and released for use prior to packaging.
• Ensure all activities are documented on the batch record, official forms, and equipment logbooks followingcGMP requirements. Ensure all transactions are executed accurately in the corporate ERP system.
• Lead the cleaning and sanitizing of all packaging equipment and packaging lines.
• Lead the cleaning and sanitizing of processing rooms, including floors, walls, and drains.
• Monitor packaging areas and ensure all are clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment to ensure it is maintained and functioning properly. Escalate issues through appropriatecorporate workflows for resolution.
• Lead by example to ensure all cGMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety (OSHA) requirements are adheredto.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, Quality, Safety Rules, and Food Safety and Food Defense practices.

Education / Experience / Training / Skill:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing of dietary supplements / pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to lift, bend, stand and walk repeatedly within amanufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment.
