Job summary

Ranchers Beverage Co is seeking a full-time Packaging Lead to join our staff in St. Paul, MN. This role leads packaging operations and collaborates across production to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency in a union environment.

The ideal candidate has beverage packaging experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position is 40 hours per week on a closing shift, with union membership required and monthly dues the employee's responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging in beer/beverage industry.
• Strong attention to recordkeeping and data.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to a safe working environment by following safety procedures and leading by example
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
• Operating the canning lines, performing quality checks, casing, and palletizing finished product
• Cleaning and filling kegs
• Performing required cleaning of canning and kegging equipment, along with general cleaning and sanitation of the brewery
• Troubleshooting equipment and performing preventative maintenance
• Collecting data and maintaining records related to packaging and inventory
• Participating in continuous improvement activities
• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks
