Job summary

Altium Packaging Sherman is seeking a Production Packaging Lead Associate for the 12hr D shift (7pm-7:30am). This role applies advanced packaging knowledge, loads and moves material, operates packaging equipment, and ensures GMP compliance.

You will mentor new employees, act as floater on lines, coordinate break relief, and participate in safety and quality initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Advanced mathematical skills required.
• Advanced computer experience.
• Three plus years’ equivalent experience including training/facilitating.

Responsibilities

• Relieve bagger and palletizer operator when needed.
• Operate packaging lines and perform changeovers.
• Assist quality department and stand in during DMR when lead is unavailable.
• Lead safety initiatives and mentor new employees on safety and quality.
• Coordinate lunch/break relief and support all lines as needed.
